Job Description

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company. They are currently seeking a Cost Estimation Engineer to be based in their head office in Doha, Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating cost estimates for all phases, ensuring alignment with budgets, forecasts, and contract requirements

Delivering reliable cost estimates benchmarked against historical data and market trends, validated through collaboration with the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams

Developing, maintaining, and regularly updating a structured cost database containing historical project data, unit rates, productivity norms, and vendor/supplier pricing

Evaluating the cost impacts of scope changes, variation orders, and non-conformance reports (NCRs)

Supporting senior estimators with reporting and maintaining detailed records
