Cost Engineer

Job description

• Coordinates with the Project Manager in defining project scopes, estimated project completion, phases to be estimated, and schedule of phases or modules.
• Identifies and recognizes possible budget constraints and looks for possible ways how to address problems that might affect the project operation and budget.
• Provides financial reporting, and trending data and performs data analysis and development.
• Provides recommendations and action plans based on audit findings to enhance and improve operations and avoid delays in the completion of construction projects.
• In charge of auditing to ensure that financial reports and other reports are free from material mistreatment, whether caused by fraud or error.
• Conducts site inspection and coordinates with the QA/QC Engineer to ensure that the Labor Cost Estimate coincides with the project completion or accomplishment reports of both Admin Laborers and Sub-Con....
