This role sits at the front end of the business, where you'll assess customer requirements, identify technical and commercial risks, and build accurate costing models that support competitive and manufacturable quotations.

What You'll Be Doing as a Cost Engineer

• Reviewing incoming RFQs and customer technical data to assess manufacturability and completeness
• Analysing Gerber files, BOMs, schematics, PCB data, and assembly drawings to identify risks or inconsistencies
• Highlighting DFM/DFT concerns, component obsolescence, and manufacturing constraints
• Working with internal engineering and supply chain teams to resolve technical queries
