HIRING COST ACCOUNTANT FROM MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
As a cost accountant, you will collect, analyse, and report on cost accounting data.
Objectives of this role
Create a system to precisely calculate the activity rate for both standard and actual costing.
Develop strategies to reduce costs and study product pricing
Prepare product cost reports by collecting information and data points from various departments within the organisation.
Investigate discrepancies in product costing and perform PEC (period-end close) activities, including settlement of Internal & maintenance order.
Conduct regular variance analysis, to accounting practices and ensure compliance with the standard cost.
Your tasks
Examine costs of production to determine the most efficient methods of production.
Ensure accurate classification of expenses for conversion cost calculation.
Research material costs to ensure the accuracy of RM consumption in accounting system.
