We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cost Accountant to support a multi-site manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on inventory and work order costing. This role is highly visible and involves collaborating with operations and corporate teams to ensure precise and timely cost reporting.
Responsibilities

+ Manage and analyze cost accounting activities across multiple locations.

+ Support inventory accounting and work order tracking, which is the core focus of this role.

+ Process and review costing within JDE for multiple sites.

+ Perform variance analysis on labor, material, and overhead, and communicate insights effectively.

+ Partner with plant operations and corporate finance to ensure accurate reporting.

+ Assist with month-end close activities related to inventory and cost accounting.

+ Maintain and improve costing accuracy and reporting processes.
