Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) * Corrections * Day Shift
Join our team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a correctional setting. This role demands dedication, high-quality care provision, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver nursing care in a correctional setting
* Rotate across units as required
* Uphold professionalism in a fast*paced setting
Start Dates: Weekend orientations post clearance by credentialing and state.
Assignment Duration: Initial 13 weeks, extendable.
Shift: Day shift, 0445*1715
Weekly Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours, with potential for 48. Flexibility needed.
Overtime: Available based on performance.
Certifications: BLS, IV Therapy Certification with a signed*off skills checklist.
License: Compact or Texas LVN
Experience:
* 2 years of LVN experience
* 1 year of Acute Care or Med Surg experience
* Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych preferred
