Corporate Counsel

Acting under the direction of the Associate General Counsel (AGC) of Nihon Kohden North America, Inc. (NKNA), the Corporate Counsel will provide legal advice and services to NKNA and its Subsidiaries (collectively, the Company) in several areas of law applicable to a generalist in-house counsel role, including Antitrust; Contracts; Corporate Law; Intellectual Property; Labor and Employment, and Litigation and Investigations. Because the NKNA Legal Department already employs two Contracts attorneys, a Paralegal, and a Contract Lifecycle Management platform to manage Contracts, this is not a Contracts Counsel role, per se. Instead, the role will focus on generalist legal areas, with a particular emphasis on Corporate, Employment, IP, and Litigation/Investigations (with mentoring/guidance from senior attorneys).
