Corporate Accountant

Speers Construction Inc. (Revelstoke, BC) is looking for a Corporate Accountant to oversee corporate-level accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance. This role works closely with project accounting team, payroll, operations leadership, and executive management to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory and tax requirements in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE or IFRS.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and file government remittances including GST, PST, Source Deductions, WCB and EHT.
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Monitor daily bank balances and reconcile cheque clearing.
