Overview

The Kidz First Child Development Team is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and confident Speech Therapist to support babies and toddlers (0‑3 years) with feeding, swallowing and communication difficulties within our community setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the patient, whānau and other health care providers to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate outcomes for children aged 0‑3 years.
• Support children with a range of feeding, swallowing and communication difficulties in community settings.
• Assess, diagnose and treat patients accordingly.
• Participate in Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies with inpatient SLT and other team members.
• Provide flexible service delivery through individual face‑to‑face sessions, telehealth and group sessions.
