Core Paths Ranger (Temporary) - MOR11920

Job Description The job focuses on monitoring and resolving the issues relating to path features identified from the Core Paths audit for the whole Core Paths Network and providing feedback to relevant stakeholders. Efforts will concentrate on tasks which maximises the accessibility of selected priority paths, working with others collaboratively to optimise space resources such as the Countryside Ranger, Community Groups and volunteers. Requirements Prepare and develop and management schedules to address issues identified for each priority Core Path including estimates of costs. Engage with landowners and farmers as required to advise on planned works to the paths. Carry out day to day physical improvement works identified for each of the prioritised Core Paths. Set up a Core Paths volunteer scheme and co-ordinate and support volunteer efforts. Work in partnership with others for larger tasks.
