The midwifery team at Wairau is a midwifery‑led service that works closely with obstetric and paediatric teams. The team provides a supportive environment, professional development opportunities, job security and workplace wellness programmes.

Responsibilities

Provide antenatal, labour and birth, and postnatal care. Use clinical, time‑management and organisational skills across all departments. Support maternity services and organisational health‑care objectives.

Qualifications

Registered New Zealand midwife. Commitment to women‑centred and culturally respectful care. Experience in antenatal, labour and birth, and postnatal care. Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
