Copywriter

Copywriter (CRM / Lifecycle) — 12-Month Contract | Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)

A leading Canadian financial institution is building out its in-house marketing team and looking for an intermediate copywriter to embed within an agile, squad-based delivery model. You'll sit alongside designers, strategists, and marketing partners, writing the 1:1 client communications that real people open in their inbox and banking app.

This is lifecycle and CRM writing, not brand or campaign work. Day to day, you'll be crafting personalized email, in-app messaging, and digital banking touchpoints that drive how clients engage with everyday banking products—subject lines, body copy, CTAs, and the kind of clear, plain-language writing that has to land in a few seconds. Strong writers who can take a strategic brief and turn it into a client journey (and who don't mind a legal and compliance review on the way there) will do well here.
