Coordinator Environmental Health & Safety - Distribution Center

• Daily Safety Rounds: Conduct floor walks to check for hazards (e.g., obstructed aisles, leaking pallets, wrong behaviours, wrong use of the equipments, or improper stacking) and ensure the correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Equipment Inspection: Perform daily pre-use checklists for Hand Pallet Jacks and Transpallets. Red-tag and remove any damaged equipment from the floor immediately.
• Hands-on Training:
• Provide practical training on the use of warehouse tools (PPEs, scanners, and MHE).
• Train employees on the correct Manual Handling techniques (how to lift/move items without injury).
• Conduct Toolbox Talks (short daily safety briefings) for the labor team.
• Behavioral Monitoring: Monitor and correct employee behavior, such as speeding with Forklift, Transpallets or improper use of racking systems.
• Damage Reporting: Document and report items damaged due to unsafe handling ...
