Coordinator, EHS

**Job purpose**

The goal of the Environment, Health & Safety Coordinator (EHS Coordinator) is enforce and maintain the framework for a safe work environment. The EHS Coordinator will review, evaluate, and analyze the workplace and ensure supporting systems and inventory is in place to control, eliminate, and prevent illness or injury to employees.

Reporting to the Environment, Health & Safety Senior Manager 2, the EHS Coordinator will act as a subject matter expert in workplace safety. Keeping abreast of regulatory and corporate standards within these areas, the EHS Coordinator will put forward effective means for ensuring compliance and health and safety performance. This role will require supporting the site Departments in terms of occupational health and safety by acting as an advisor and as a contributor.
