Coordinator, Core Lab - Laboratory - Full Time

Sign on bonus up to $25,000

Position Summary:
Responsible for the assistance in the coordination of technical operations for the core lab designated sections (Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Urinalysis and Coagulation, and Blood Bank, in applicable laboratories)

Experience:
6 years direct experience in clinical laboratory disciplines

License & Education:

+ ASCP Certification, New York State Medical Technologist license required.

+ Education in accordance with the NYS Office of Professions and CLIA requirements of testing personnel.

Essential Functions:

+ Coordinating Technical Operations:

+ Supervision for all aspects of technical performance of personnel assigned to core lab on all shifts. This includes but is not limited to training, initial assessment, competency evaluation.
