Cook/Chef

We are currently seeking a dedicated experienced Cook or Chef for our well established Mediterranean Restaurant/Café in Derby, Western Australia. The position is full time and the position is responsible for:

· Smooth day-to day running of the kitchen

· Prepare all Café meals including Pizza and deserts

· Safe storage and preparation of food

· Prepare chop and peel daily fresh food produce

· Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and utensils

· Ensure the safe operation of the ovens, grills and cooking equipment

· Season, stir or turn food as required

· Dish up and arrange food portions as per instructions

· Maintain high culinary standards

· Train and supervise kitchen employees

· General kitchen duties and safe operation of all cooking equipment

· Comply with requirements of occupation health and safety (OH&S) legislation
