Description

The Cook works to prepare consistent, high-quality food at the Resort. This role focuses on ensuring food safety and service standards, presentation, and quality are met. The Cook works under the supervision of the Sous Chef and Resort Chefs, or designate, and closely with all culinary and warehousing departments at Sunshine.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods, including:
  • Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods
  • Oversee kitchen operations set up, cleaning, and organization of work areas
  • Ensuring that all food service standards, health and safety regulations, and quality controls are followed consistently and thoroughly
  • Must be hands‑on in food preparation and serving, when needed
  • Additional duties to be tasked at a supervisor’s discretion.
