Cook – Expected start date 01/07/2026

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all academy meals efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, well‑maintained and stocked kitchen.
• Provide well‑balanced meals and nutritional menu choices.
• Promote pupils’ independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience of food preparation, ideally in an environment serving children and young people.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm to make a difference and passion for inclusion.
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS check and online check; assessment against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
