iPeople SCSolutions is recruiting a Cook to workfor our client based in Medway and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate willprovide healthy meals in a short breaks home for children and young people with learning difficulties and complex needs.

The successful candidate is to have overall responsibility for the kitchen.

Duties and responsibilities but not limited to

• Prepare menus and cook meals in accordance with the food hygiene legislation, ensuring all meals are of a high standard, nutritious and meet the dietary requirements of the children and young people.
• Purchase food and ingredients from an agreed budget, and replenish consumables whilst ensuring adequate stock supplies are maintained.
• To carry out cleaning of the kitchen, store cupboards and surrounding areas as required, including equipment to ensure the kitchen is maintained to a high level and conforms to curre...
