We are looking for a Cook, to work at Shepherds Corner, based in West Croydon. This is a part time role, working Thursday and Friday, 9am - 2pm including bank holidays (at an enhanced rate)

Duties of the Cook position include:

• Prepare nutritional meals (lunch and dinner), following a menu plan, whilst meeting the needs of our culturally and diet specific residents.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
• Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment
• Utilise knowledge of HACCP and current food regulations
• Management of food ordering and stock rotation
• Interaction with Service Users to reflect their food choices

The successful Cook will have

• Good and proven communication skills essential
• Must be able to communicate verbally with vulnerable adults
• Able to work under own initiative
• Flexible with hours of work
