Bank Cook – St Peter & St James Hospice

Location: St Peter & St James Hospice, BN8 4ED.

Salary: £13.55 - £13.82 per hour (£26,496 - £27,014 per annum, full‑time equivalent).

Contract: Bank / casual.

Working Hours: Bank / ad‑hoc hours covering sickness, annual leave and service needs.

Shifts: 8am–4pm and 11am–7pm, Monday to Sunday. Availability to cover a range of shifts desirable.

What you’ll be doing:

• Cooking and preparing fresh, nutritious meals to order for patients, loved ones, attendees, visitors and staff.
• Supporting catering of internal events and fundraising functions when required.
• Ensuring dietary requirements, preferences, religious and cultural needs are met.
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and customer service at all times.
