Job Description
Primary Function
Responsible for preparing food for dining room and for patients under the direction of the Cook II/Executive Chef.
Responsibilities
-Responsible for the preparation and cooling of foods using standardized recipes, production sheets and HACCP Records under the supervision of a cook.
-Prepare and cook food on grill.
-Serves and plates meals for patient services.
-Control quantity and quality of foods used on a daily basis by taking inventory daily and ordering supplies as needed.
-Maintains high standards of food handling and cleanliness in the work area.
-Responsible for cleaning production area prior to end of shift.
-Responsible for maintaining principles of proper food production and other related activities.
-Assists with catered events for food preparation and service.
-Performs all other duties as assigned.
