Controls Technician

The ControlsTechnician is responsible for substation and pad mount transformer control panel installation.
This role will involve running conduit, putting together wire runs, pulling and terminating wire, and installing gauges and fans.
Read and follow work order instructions to ensure your rebuilding transformers to customer specifications.
Gather parts and tools that are needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition prior to usage.
Layout conduit runs for pad mount and substation transformers.
This includes tracing and wiring in existing control panels.
Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation.
Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately.
Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete.
Recondition any components deemed necessary to fix.
Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
Other assigned duties as needed.
