CONTROLLER (WITH REAL ESTATE / PROPERTY MANAGEMENT BACKGROUND)

The Controller will manage the entire accounting & finance operations, overseeing financial reporting (GAAP, tax), internal controls, ensuring compliance and providing key financial insights to executives for profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Compliance : Produce financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement), manage monthly/quarterly/annual closes, ensure GAAP, SEC, & tax compliance (federal/state).
• Internal Controls : Design and implement systems to prevent errors, fraud, and protect company assets.
• Strategic Finance : Analyze financial data, provide insights for profitability, manage debt, and participate in loan renegotiations.
• Audit Coordination : Lead and coordinate external audits.
