We’re partnering with a growing organization in the Nashville area that is seeking an Interim Controller to provide hands-on leadership during a transition period. This is a high-impact, short-term engagement supporting the business, with full ownership of the accounting function and visibility to executive leadership.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded accounting and finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and can operate independently.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead the month-end close process with a targeted 3-day timeline

+ Prepare and post journal entries and complete account reconciliations

+ Own all internal and external financial reporting

+ Manage lender reporting and related compliance requirements

+ Support audit activities and external auditors

+ Oversee billing processes and timecard approvals
