Control Tower Lead

Job Description

• Lead and mentor a team of transport planner professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and KPI achievement—particularly in a shared-services or cross-functional environment.
• Monitor daily arrival and depart haulage drivers time as per schedule to ensure compliance
• Provide escalation, status report, delay and proactive updates to relevant departments
• Tracking of daily driver attendance against forecasted plan to ensure adequate on time arrival
• Ensuring the numbers of linehaul provided by suppliers and vendors are as planned according to trips
• Liaise with stakeholders and vendors on ad-hoc trip request and create additional trips if required
• To facilitate the update and response if linehaul trucks delay departure from schedule, advise the new arrival time at facilities.
