We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Control Room Engineer to support the smooth operation of our mechanized material handling systems, ensuring efficient cargo movement, accurate operational reporting, and seamless coordination across terminal functions.
Role Overview
As a Control Room Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating import, export, and dispatch operations through automated systems while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and accurate documentation.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Ensure smooth operation of mechanized material handling systems for import, export, and dispatch cargo
- Operate and monitor SCADA systems, stacking/reclaiming systems, and DSS operations
- Coordinate with technicians, operators, and helpers for efficient system start-up, shutdown, and uninterrupted operations
- Escalate equipment observations and breakdowns to maintenance teams and shift in-charge
