Contracts Analyst

Main Purpose

To draft and review oil related sales, purchase and storage agreements to ensure that Trafigura is fully and legally protected.

To ensure that all contracts are consistent with Pluto entry (inhouse trading system) to prevent P&L losses and to ensure that all documentary/financial instruments are issued correctly.

To provide advice to traders and operators highlighting any potential problems that may arise as a result of the contract, and suggesting remedies to reduce such risks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in law or advanced law students.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), or equivalent to C1 is a must.
• Advanced or native Spanish, equivalent to C2 is required.
• Good understanding of contractual clauses (eg. force majeure, limitation of liability, assignability, default and liquidation, waivers, etc.)
