Contract Technician - Three Waters

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery and performance of Three Waters maintenance and capital works contracts.
• Monitoring contractor performance, undertaking site inspections, and ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
• Administering contracts (including NZS 3910 and 3917), processing claims, variations, and maintaining accurate records.
• Investigating and resolving customer requests, issues, and contractor performance matters.
• Supporting health, safety, and risk management practices across all contract activities.

What you will bring

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• A full NZ driver’s licence.
• At least 3 years’ experience in infrastructure or civil engineering, ideally within Three Waters.
• Sound knowledge of contract management, including NZS 3910 and NZS3917.
