CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST n the CONTRACTS DIRECTORATE of NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. Responsibilities You will be responsible for all matters pertaining to the contract through the life of the contract. You will have the ability to act as both a contract expert and a business advisor in developing business and contracting strategies in the Defense Acquisition environment. You will serve as a technical authority for field visits and reviews and serves as a member of task force. You will make contractual decisions and procurement policies/procedures and recommendations. You will conduct the full range of post-award activities including, but not limited to, execution of complex modifications for change orders, increases in scope, equitable adjustments and more.
