The primary purpose of this position is to provide business advice to the customer and perform preaward and postaward functions, using a wide range of contracting methods and types to procure complex or specialized services, commodities, and/or construction for the organization. Responsibilities Duty 1: Serves as a business advisor, providing business advice, guidance and assistance to technical personnel involved in the development of requirements packages. Duty 2: Procures and performs post award functions for a wide variety of services, commodities, and/or construction and RTD&E involving a variety of contract types, investigation and resolution of contractor delays, contractor performance appraisals, subcontractor surveillance, disposition of claims, close-out, and similar matters.
