Contract Manager – Taumarunui BTW

We’re looking for a capable infrastructure professional to take ownership of a live Ruapehu District Council contract – leading delivery, managing contractors, and building strong client relationships on the ground.

This is a hands‑on Contract Manager role where you’ll work at the centre of Council, contractor, and consulting teams to deliver real infrastructure outcomes across the district.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead delivery of a Council infrastructure contract
• Manage contractor performance, programmes, and budgets
• Build strong relationships with Council, contractors, and partners
• Oversee procurement, contract administration, and reporting
• Maintain a regular on‑site presence to keep delivery on track
• Administer contracts including procurement, performance monitoring, and payment processes
