Essential Functions:
The following job specific requirements should discuss the essential duties and responsibilities required of the position.
1. Reviews radiology requisition and physician order to ensure proper procedure is performed. Collect and ensure previous, pertinent exams are available for Radiologist's review.
2. Instructs patient regarding procedures and preps. Positions patient and, if necessary, restrains mobility through use of immobilization devices.
3. Determines exposure factors; adjusts exposure factors and operates equipment according to established procedures to obtain diagnostic C.T. procedures and diagnostic radiographs. Cleans and organizes work area to ensure proper supplies required for procedures are available. Processes and reviews quality of images.
