Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the driver with route preparation; navigating the route; loading, unloading and assembling documents and merchandise at the customer's location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ navigate driver to the location including getting out of the truck at the location to assist driver in maneuvering around power lines, driveways, trees, etc.
+ Telephone customers and notify them of expected arrival time.
+ Maintain 5S's Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in dock areas including exterior truck wells.
+ Accurately load and unload documents/merchandise on and off the truck. Ensure documents/merchandise are secure, safe and free from damage.
+ Place and assemble merchandise at customer location as required.
