Job Description
**Northwest Container Services (NWCS)** , a **Waste Connections** company, is looking for a safety conscious **Container Repair Specialist** to join the team in **NW Portland, Oregon** .
NWCS is an intermodal train yard that specializes in storage, repair and train movement for 20-ft, 40-ft, 45-ft, 48-ft and 53-ft containers and chassis. The container yard handles both empty and loaded containers. At NWCS, we’re striving to create a safe working culture and to make it a great place to work.
Schedule will be **Monday – Friday**
Shift will be **6:00 AM – 3:30 PM**
Wage Range is **$29.00 -$35.00/HR DOE**
Safety Sensitive: **Yes**
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Container Repair:**
+ Welding, painting, and grinding responsibilities.
+ Welding/Cutting abilities to include MIG, TIG, Stick, Aluminum, Plastic, Brazing, Carbon Arc, Plasma Cutting, OXY Acetylene, MAP Gas and Propane.
