Container Associate (Days)

Responsibilities

• Unload containers according to purchase order specifications.
• Lift boxes weighing 1–50 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
• Segregate boxes by item number.
• Interlock cases on pallets and secure with tape or shrink wrap.
• Identify and report quantity variances and damages to the Receiver associate.
• Perform various warehouse duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and WHMIS standards.
• Capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs, and regularly lifting heavy objects throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a noisy, fast‑paced environment and in hot or cold weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑motivated, and a team player.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor and follow directions.
