Overview

Consultant Ophthalmologist with a subspecialty interest in Glaucoma. Permanent consultant post available from August 2026.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Job Duties

• Provide eye care service across multiple hospital sites, including sessions at Inverclyde Royal Hospital and New Victoria Hospital.
• Participate in on‑call duties (1 in 33 consultations) for the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area.
• Deliver DCC, administrative and SPA sessions under a 10 PA contract.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Full GMC registration and licence to practise; eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
• UK‑trained: evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or within six months of confirmed entry.
• CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route: eligible for substantive post once CESR...
