An opportunity for a fixed term post within the Medicine Division has arisen with the potential for a substantive post in future.

This role would have three main aspects:

• Ward consultant work on Granger ward, this is an Oncology ward with a small cohort of Haematology patients. The role will cover the oncology patients with the Haematology team providing reviews for the Haematology patients.
• Medical Outliers, providing inpatient reviews for medical outliers in non-medical beds.
• Medical Admission Unit (MAU). Providing medical cover in MAU for ambulatory day patients as needed.
• Physician of the Day (POD). Joining the medical team (POD) rota. Frequency to be determined.
