Consultant ICU Specialist - Critical Care Medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill adult patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit
• Provide advanced life support and critical care management for medical, surgical, trauma, sepsis, respiratory failure, and cardiac emergency cases
• Perform critical care procedures including intubation, central venous catheter insertion, arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, and ventilator management
• Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds and coordinate individualized patient management plans
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, anesthesiology, surgery, pulmonology, cardiology, infectious diseases, nursing, respiratory therapy, and other specialty teams
• Supervise junior physicians, residents, and ICU staff where applicable, supporting safe practice and clinical development
