Consultant Anaesthetist (LW)

Applications are welcome for the above permanent post based at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

We are looking to appoint a Consultant Anaesthetist with a general interest to complement a department of 40 in a busy District General Hospital, with a particular interest in pain management.

We provide anaesthesia for a wide range of specialty surgery including Robotics, General Surgery, Breast, ENT, Maxillofacial, Obstetrics, Gynaecology (general and oncology), Trauma and Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and Paediatrics. Day surgery is performed at a stand-alone unit in Dunfermline. We also provide support to a new National Treatment Centre for elective Orthopaedic work.

The Fife Pain Management Service has a strong multidisciplinary approach to the care of patients with Chronic pain. This exciting post is at the forefront of the service.
