Perform construction welding inspections related to steel fabrication and fabricate shop practices including storage, handling, cutting, bending, machining, fit‐up, surface prep, welding, bolting, erection, and coatings. Inspect coatings, test various coating systems, and perform structural bolting inspections and testing of bolting methods and installation. Provide recommendations to government personnel regarding contract plans and specifications for all construction phases.
