Construction Design Associate

Position Overview

The Setup and Construction Design Assistant works collaboratively with Heirlooms Construction and SetUp Design departments, supporting the Senior Design Manager, Design Managers, and Associates throughout the design process. The role focuses on sourcing construction materials, fixture & finish specifications, furniture, and art, and on updating the construction selections standards library.

Design projects include single family homes, boutique hotels, inns, B&B, and hostels. Project locations vary depending on the development pipeline.

Essential Functions

• Manage the production of design drawings including floor plans, interior elevations, and details.
• Construction Administration: Submittals, shop drawings, ID sets, CFAs.
• Source design and brand‑consistent lighting, plumbing fixtures, finishes, furniture, décor, art, and accessory selections.
