About the role
The Conservation Program Manager role is integral in the delivery of Trust for Natures conservation programs.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will deliver the Stewardship Program in the Glenelg-Hopkins catchment, this involves working closely with existing landholders, as well as engaging and supporting potential new conservation covenantors. You will be tasked with achieving more and better private land conservation within Glenelg-Hopkins, while being the voice for private land conservation across the region.
Success in this role requires familiarity with conservation and land management principles, including Victorias Ecological Vegetation Classes and local flora and fauna. Youll provide advice to landholders on best-practice conservation and land management approaches. Strong local knowledge and community connection are key, whether gained through living or working in the region.
