Job Description
Department of Conservation (DOC) in Invercargill is seeking a data-focused conservation researcher to contribute to Kakapo and Takahe recovery. You will collect, tidy and manage scientific data, record field samples, and assist with planning, analysis and reporting within a collaborative team.
The role offers involvement in field trials and data-driven conservation strategies aimed at protecting New Zealand’s unique biodiversity. This fixed-term position ends June 2027, based in Invercargill.
