About the Role

Tri-County Steel, Inc. (TCS) is hiring a mid-level Configuration Manager to support a long-running Department of Defense program at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane in southern Indiana. The program develops, sustains, and fields small arms platforms for the warfighter — work that demands rigorous configuration discipline across mechanical, electronic, and software components.

This is a career-defining opportunity to step into an established CM function alongside a long-tenured incumbent who will serve as your technical mentor through a 6–12 month knowledge-transfer period before transitioning out of the role. You will not be expected to lead the function on Day 1 — you will be expected to be a credible CM practitioner from Day 1, absorb institutional knowledge, and grow into the seat.
