Concrete Quality Inspector

Description

Our client in Edmonton, AB is looking for a Concrete/Civil QAQC Inspector to support on-site quality inspections. This role will focus on rebar, pre/post pour inspections, and concrete curing activities. They are looking for candidates with strong hands-on exposure to concrete foundation inspection for a 5 month contract with potential to extend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform on-site in-process QC inspections in line with IFC drawings, specs, and CSA standards

- Conduct pre-pour inspections:

- Rebar

- Formwork

- Oversee concrete placement and finishing

- Monitor concrete curing (hot & cold weather requirements)

- Complete post-pour inspections (defects, finishing quality)

- Coordinate with 3rd party testing agencies when required

- Track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions

- Complete QC documentation:

- Inspection reports
