Kalamazoo Area Mathematics and Science Center – Computer Science Teacher (Accelerated Program Fall 2026)
KAMSC is a countywide public‑funded mathematics and science center for academically talented 9 through 12th grade students in Kalamazoo County. The center has high national visibility and a reputation for excellence. During its 39 years of operation, the program has provided rigorous and enriched mathematics and science courses for selected students of the Kalamazoo area. Students from the Kalamazoo County schools come to the center for half of their school day. Teachers voluntarily work on Wednesday evenings to interact with students and provide additional support.
Minimum Qualifications
Michigan Certification – possible certifications include Computer Science (NR), Secondary Mathematics (EX), or Science preferred, and significant professional development or experience in computer science.
Major in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.
