The Cardiovascular Biomechanics Computation Lab (https://cbcl.stanford.edu/) at Stanford University, led by Dr. Alison Marsden, focuses on computational modeling of the cardiovascular system to aid surgical planning, medical device design, and fundamental research in biomechanics. The lab develops the SimVascular open-source project, a leading tool for patient-specific modeling and blood flow simulation, and manages the Vascular Model Repository (VMR), which offers over 300 accessible SimVascular-compatible projects.
