Compressor Station Operator

BHE GT&S JOB DESCRIPTION BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity as a Compressor Station Operator at our Leidy Station in Renovo, PA.. RESPONSIBILITIES * Inspect engines and compressors and auxiliary equipment. * Check water and oil levels and temperatures, engine and oil pressures, change charts, blow drips, etc. * Assist in starting and stopping engines, repairing engines, compressors, and other station equipment. * Operate and attend to space heating and boilers, cooling fans and water pumps. * May be required to report suction and discharge pressures and calculate and report volumes to Gas Dispatcher and supply other data as requested by Gas Control Section. * Assist in making repairs to engines and other station equipment, including major overhauls. * Perform various duties incidental to general repair and maintenance work such as painting and repairing structures and equipment, cleaning, polishing, maintaining grounds, digging ditches, etc. * Make minor repairs to equi...
