Main responsibilitiesPlace new purchase orders, confirm them and expedite them as indicated by the priority reports.Ask the supplier for a copy of the packing list and the tracking number when the shipment has been made by the supplier.Request inventory from other companies and/or branches when the shipping date confirmed by the supplier does not avoid component shortages.Request substitute components when the original component will take a long time to arrive at the PCC department.Follow up on the C-Hold report on a daily basis to expedite its components.Support in the clarification of receipt discrepancies to avoid paying for material not received.Maintain discrepancies in purchase orders between the AS400 and SAP systems within the indicators (exception report).
Follow up on excess inventory indicators to work on reducing it (Excess Stock report, Quantity of locations with excess stock report).
